With over fifteen years experience in public affairs and politics, John has advised a number of leading companies and organisations on their public affairs and communications strategies. John launched Insight in 2006, having gained extensive experience running UK and international strategic communications programmes. He was a finalist for Public Affairs News' Consultant of the Year in 2008.
His clients have included Amgen, Harrah's Entertainment, Microsoft, Norwich Union, sanofi-aventis and The Institute for Travel Management. He continues to provide pro bono support to Breast Cancer Campaign. John has established many campaigning coalitions and has a track record of developing public policy initiatives that have informed and shaped Government policy. James has seven years experience in consultancy and in-house roles, and has advised some of the UK's largest companies and organisations. He helped establish Insight in early 2006, and has spearheaded a series of client programmes for sanofi-aventis and the social enterprise Apnee Sehat. James has been advising National Literacy Trust throughout National Year of Reading, and also provides the secretariat to the All Party Parliamentary Thrombosis Group.
As Public Affairs Manager at the British Retail Consortium, he secured numerous public policy changes in both the UK and Europe. He has a particular knowledge of London Governance having run the London Retail Consortium.

Andrew began his political career as a research assistant to Government Ministers Rt Hon Jack Straw MP and Ivor Caplin MP. He gained further experience as a media manager for the Labour Party, the Mayor of London and the London Assembly. He was a member of the Labour Party media team through the 2004 London Mayoral election and 2005 General Election.
In consultancy, Andrew has managed accounts for a range of clients and specialises in health policy and social justice campaigns. Andrew has written for Third Sector magazine, and the Campaign for Vascular Assessment was a finalist for a PR Week Award in 2008. Andrew works closely with the charities, Human Rights Watch and St Mungo's, and is a trustee of the international human rights organisation, Fair Trials International.

Amanda began her career in Parliament, as Parliamentary Researcher to Government Minister Dr Stephen Ladyman MP. As Senior Parliamentary Researcher to Government Whip Paul Clark MP she supported his media operations throughout the 2005 general election in one of the UK's most marginal seats. During her time in Parliament she also supported the secretariat of a series of All Party Parliamentary Groups.
In political consultancy Amanda has concentrated largely on ICT and the Health Sector. She has extensive experience in third party alliance building and managing campaigns in Westminster, Holyrood and Cardiff.

Chris has over eight years experience of public affairs consultancy experience. He has advised clients in a number of policy areas, including retail, food and technology, with a specialism in health. He has worked with leading companies across these sectors, as well as trade bodies, regulators, professional groups, and charities, whilst his healthcare work has required extensive engagement with patient associations, healthcare professionals and NHS audiences.

Olly was Deputy Press Secretary to Rt Hon Charles Kennedy MP from 2004 to 2006, a role in which he briefed the parliamentary lobby, managed relationships with national broadcast journalists and handled the regional political media. He was involved in the organisation of Charles Kennedy's set-piece addresses during the 2005 election.
Prior to joining Insight, Olly worked as a freelance journalist, with articles published in the Times and Evening Standard. He writes regularly for the Guardian Unlimited, appears as a political commentator on ITV and Radio Four and is an approved parliamentary candidate for the Liberal Democrats. In 2008, Olly was celebrated as one of PR Week's 29 under 29 rising stars.

Simon spent over six years in the British Army conducting operations across the globe and was one of the Army's media spokesmen during the Iraq War. Working in Parliament for three years, Simon worked for the Shadow Minister for Culture, Media & Sport and the Shadow Minister for Health, and assisted in drafting Conservative Party policy. He also provided the secretariat to the Surrey Group of MPs.
He has specific expertise in gambling legislation and worked closely with industry and interest groups throughout the passage of the Gambling Act. He has extensive experience of briefing and advising Cabinet ministers, Shadow Cabinet ministers and senior corporate executives.

Louise has six years experience working in the public sector, Parliament and public affairs. She began her career at the Healthcare Commission working to develop the regulatory structure of private healthcare establishments. Louise developed her interest in health issues while working for David Amess MP, running his Westminster office and assisting him in his work on standing committees and a select committee.

Since joining Insight, Nadia has worked predominantly on clients in the education and health sectors. Nadia has assisted in a variety of public affairs campaigns in Westminster, Cardiff, and also Holyrood and has extensive experience managing Parliamentary receptions and dinners in both the House of Commons and the House of Lords. Nadia worked on a private member's bill on Special Education Needs, and she has also organised and managed a series of large-scale corporate conferences and events for international organisations. Before joining Insight, Nadia worked as a researcher for Bloomsbury Publishing in their fiction and marketing departments, and graduated from Nottingham University in 2006.

Jen began her career in the Office of Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton in Washington, DC. She has experience working as a Production Assistant at the Fox News Channel in New York City for the flagship Hannity & Colmes programme. As Regional Communications Manager at The White House Project she organised and led national and regional media trainings, panel discussions, press briefings and networking receptions. One of her cornerstone initiatives was SheSource.org, a national online database of women experts for journalists. In the UK, Jen worked for the London Labour Party media team during the 2005 General Election where she helped organize press events and campaign visits for candidates, MPs, Cabinet members and the Prime Minister.

Mark graduated in 2007 from the University of Exeter with a degree in Politics. Prior to joining Insight, Mark worked in the Westminster Office of Jim Knight MP, Minister of State at the Department of Children, Schools and Families. He prepared briefings on policy issues and legislation, drafted press releases, and provided draft speech notes for Mr Knight's political speeches.
